Relating to Our Own Self and to Others

We all want to relate well to others, but we cannot do that unless we relate well to ourselves.

Each of us brings attitudes and expectations into our dealings with others that affect the success we have with them.

We may have some insight into others while having limited understanding of the parts of ourselves that are in shadow and escape our vision.

By forming a new relationship with ourselves in therapy, with the help of the therapist, we discover more about how we relate to others.

As our relationship with ourself improves, we find it increasingly easy to relate well with others, to make the right choices, and to enjoy deeper successes in our everyday lives.
